In vielen L\u00e4ndern war Cannabis jedoch illegal und als Rauschmittel eingestuft. In den letzten Jahren hat sich die Sichtweise auf Cannabis gewandelt, und 2015 lockerte die FDA die regulatorischen Anforderungen, um Forschern die Durchf\u00fchrung von Studien mit CBD (Cannabidiol) zu erm\u00f6glichen. Ende 2020 urteilte der Gerichtshof der Europ\u00e4ischen Union, dass CBD kein Bet\u00e4ubungsmittel ist, und wenige Wochen sp\u00e4ter stimmte die Suchtstoffkommission der Vereinten Nationen f\u00fcr die Herabstufung von Cannabis von Liste IV in eine weniger sch\u00e4dliche Kategorie.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Angesichts dieser grundlegenden Ver\u00e4nderungen besch\u00e4ftigen sich immer mehr Unternehmen mit der Entwicklung von Medikamenten auf Cannabisbasis. Dies erfordert nat\u00fcrlich auch zuverl\u00e4ssige, spezifische und robuste Analysemethoden. Jose Antonio Legarreta, Experte f\u00fcr LC-MS\/MS-Methodenentwicklung bei Kymos, erkl\u00e4rt:  <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201eKymos hat eine LC-MS\/MS-Methode f\u00fcr Cannabidiol (CBD) und die wichtigsten aktiven Metaboliten von CBD entwickelt, die sich als selektiv und linear erwiesen hat und die bioanalytischen Anforderungen an Pr\u00e4zision, Genauigkeit und Matrixeffekt erf\u00fcllt.\u201c<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Cannabinoide sind Substanzen der Cannabispflanze, die auf spezifische Rezeptoren im menschlichen Gehirn und K\u00f6rper wirken. Sie sind die Hauptwirkstoffe sowohl in aus Cannabis gewonnenen Arzneimitteln als auch in Cannabispr\u00e4paraten. Die beiden am besten erforschten Cannabinoide sind Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) und Cannabidiol (CBD).  <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201eBei dieser Methode konzentrierten wir uns auf CBD und seine Hauptmetaboliten\u201c, erkl\u00e4rt Jos\u00e9 Antonio. \u201eWir haben eine LC-MS\/MS-Methode zur simultanen Bestimmung von Cannabidiol (CBD) und seinen Hauptmetaboliten (\u03949-THC, 11-Hydroxy-\u03949-THC und 11-Nor-9-Carboxy-\u03949-THC) in Humanplasma entwickelt. Die LC-MS\/MS-Bestimmung erfolgt mit einem Sciex 6500+ Triple-Quadrupol (MRM-Modus) und basiert auf 200 \u00b5L Plasmaprobe sowie einer einfachen Proteinf\u00e4llung mittels Phospholipid-Entfernungsplatten. Die Methode ist selektiv, linear und erf\u00fcllt die bioanalytischen Anforderungen an Pr\u00e4zision, Richtigkeit und Matrixeffekt.
