Dr. Latorre erinnert sich an ihre Anf\u00e4nge bei Kymos: <\/p>\n<p>\u201eIch begann meine Karriere in verschiedenen Gruppen, doch als die Methodenentwicklung und -validierung immer wichtiger wurden, entstand die Abteilung, die ich heute leite. Kunden wandten sich an uns, um ihre Validierungen durchf\u00fchren zu lassen oder wenn sie Unterst\u00fctzung bei der Optimierung und Skalierung bestehender Methoden ben\u00f6tigten. Unsere Abteilung fungierte als Eingangstor f\u00fcr viele verschiedene Projekte.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Latorre erkl\u00e4rt, dass dies der Schl\u00fcssel zur F\u00e4higkeit ihres Teams ist, auch ungew\u00f6hnliche Anfragen zu bearbeiten:<\/p>\n<p>\u201eDurch unsere langj\u00e4hrige Erfahrung mit zahlreichen Projekten verf\u00fcgen wir \u00fcber das n\u00f6tige Know-how und die Flexibilit\u00e4t, unsere Kunden auch bei anspruchsvollen Projekten kompetent zu begleiten. Zum Vergleich: Ein durchschnittliches Pharmalabor f\u00fchrt j\u00e4hrlich bis zu vier Produkteinf\u00fchrungen mit insgesamt zw\u00f6lf Neuentwicklungen und Validierungen durch. Unsere Abteilung hingegen bearbeitet j\u00e4hrlich rund 72 Validierungen und sammelt so Jahr f\u00fcr Jahr wertvolle Erfahrungen.\u201c Dr. Latorre f\u00e4hrt fort: \u201eDar\u00fcber hinaus erm\u00f6glicht uns die Zugeh\u00f6rigkeit zu einem multinationalen Konzern die enge Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Kollegen unserer italienischen Tochtergesellschaft Pharmaprogress, dem Team von Dr. Francesco Spandoni. Diese verf\u00fcgen \u00fcber ein anderes Fachwissen und erg\u00e4nzende Instrumente. Gemeinsam entwickeln wir robuste Methoden, die unsere Kunden \u00fcber den gesamten Produktlebenszyklus hinweg unterst\u00fctzen.\u201c <\/p>\n<p>Tats\u00e4chlich fungiert das Team von Dr. Rosa Latorre als zentrale Anlaufstelle f\u00fcr viele andere Abteilungen bei Kymos und liefert ma\u00dfgeschneiderte Methoden f\u00fcr Qualit\u00e4tskontrolle, Chargenpr\u00fcfung und Stabilit\u00e4tsanalysen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eWir helfen jederzeit gern\u201c, f\u00e4hrt Dr. Latorre fort. \u201eManchmal ben\u00f6tigen unsere Kunden Unterst\u00fctzung bei Spezifikationen und beh\u00f6rdlichen Anfragen oder bei der Entwicklung von Analysemethoden f\u00fcr Arzneimittel, verwandte Substanzen sowie elementare oder genotoxische Verunreinigungen, um nur einige Beispiele zu nennen. In letzter Zeit haben wir einen steigenden Bedarf an der Bestimmung von Restl\u00f6sungsmitteln in topischen Produkten festgestellt und daraufhin umgehend mehrere verbesserte Zellsysteme f\u00fcr Aufl\u00f6sungstests halbfester Arzneimittel angeschafft. Damit decken wir nun diesen Marktbedarf ab, und ich denke, das ist ein gutes Beispiel f\u00fcr unsere Kompetenz\u201c, schlie\u00dft sie.  <\/p>\n<p>Methodenentwicklung und -validierung erfordern eine seltene Kombination aus analytischer Erfahrung und regulatorischem Wissen.
